or does anyone else have a difficult time actually reading the forum now ?

i've been out of commission for quite a while and just dropped in tonight for the first time since last october....

i realize i'm getting up there in years and my eyes aren't all that great , but man , oh , man.....it seems that almost everyone has some colored text - ESPECIALLY in their sigs (including useful info like collecting interests or links to their own sites) ....normally i wouldn't complain about that ...a bit of color can do wonders to brighten things up....but i really have to say that on this "new" (ok , new to me anyway) woodgrain background , i can't make out ANYTHING written in any color other than white or in some cases yellow or black....

is there any way at all to override this setting and just make it a nice neat and readable white (or at least a much lighter colored) background ??


edit to add _ now that i just made my first post in ages , i see that my own sig now features unreadable blue text....i'm going to try to find a way to change that but if i can't i guess i'll just delete it since it's virtually useless.....

Welcome back buddy! No your eyes are okay...as alot of the members notice the unreadable signatures and most of us changed the colors in our signature awhile ago. White, Orange and Yellow are the better colors for the sigs or links. Best regards, David

Scroll all the way to the bottom of your screen and change the drop down menu on the left to "blue". This will revert the background back to what it was before the wood grain was introduced.

Much easier to read than the wood grain.

You may want to make sure your signature is a color that works in either design.
