Don't know how many more blizzards I can stand!!!!! What started out as a 1-3" quick clipper has turned into a monster potentially dumping up to 36" on my driveway! Wind gusts to 40mph...blizzard conditions...impassable roads! FUN!!

The first neighbor out with a snowblower gets a blank check!

Feels like a day (or days) to make some trades. They won't mail until about Wednesday...but a good weekend to get some stuff done.

It is crazy isn't it. We have atleast a 12.5 inches so far in SW Baltimore County and they are saying we could have some more bands that could land 2 inches an hour to come.

Hey Trish,

It is TOTALLY insane!!! Two weeks ago, I was in shorts, golfing. Up here in York, we are at @ 16" right now with more to come. Add to that the drifting..wow!

Saw your post regarding snowed in and trading - I think you have gotten all the Orioles I have worth trading. I will reload and see what you can use the next time I am down for the Slade show - which for anyone in the greater Baltimore area is a very nice show to attend! From my perspective, there are multiple vintage dealers that have some great stuff at great prices.

Stay warm and take a breaks while shovelling!

Hey Tom - sorry, no luck on #281. Good luck with the snow - we just passed 30". Have set the all time record for a single snowfall in Central PA. Good times!

Update from Central PA - kids are still off school. Only half of my road has been plowed - and it isn't my half - 15 feet between driveway and the plow path - two feet high of snow. Hopefully the plows will come back through today at some point.

To all those I have trades with - they are packed up and ready to go - as soon as I can get to the PO, they will be in the mail. Looking like Thursday at this point.

I missed it by a day - didn't get to the post office until today. I apologize to everyone for the delay in getting my end of deals out - but it is all in the mail as of today.

For those who have sent cards my way - we finally got our street plowed out yesterday, I am anticipating the postman being able to make a delivery today.

Very true...Even better is that we start winter workouts for my sons baseball team tomorrow (first workout got snowed out last Saturday).

It's been a very mild winter here this year. Warm temps and very little snow. My daughter has started softball practice indoors although it's been warm enough most weekends to have it outdoors.

I think it's getting ready to get really cold up there. I like this time of year because it allows me to reminisce about when I was a Shoveler (of snow).

I just cut my lawn for the final time this year on Saturday....Now I have to dig out my snow shovel. We were told that it would be no more than 3".... we have already coasted past that total and there is still more on the way....

It isn't even Thanksgiving yet...and I already hate winter this year......

Fires to the North of us and fires to the South....Nice places with trees and views...but not to live in or around. Best regards, David PS don't live in areas with tons of trees and areas of high winds......most of the fires in the past (last year) were caused by our power companies!
