Live Box Break on USTREAM

For the upcoming live breaks that we will be doing on Ustream, we are doing a trial run to see how smooth things run.

Tonight at 8:30 or once the game ends (whichever comes first) I will be doing a couple of live break....nothing too fancy.

I don't think you need an account to watch. I'm not sure what features will be available to users with no account.

In order to chat, you have to have a login. To watch the channel, you don't need to be a member. It's free, regardless.

I was at work for the actual break, but I did watch the recording. I don't know how it was in the actual cast, but it was near impossible for me to hear Pete, and I have my volume turned all the way up. Perhaps a better microphone placement.

Also, the angle was kinda odd. Perhaps that's just me, tho.

The volume is very loud.. make sure you have volume on actual player turned up as well as on your computer!

Pete, it is a great idea and I had fun with the others that were on. You are right if the live lag was better it would be a very welcomed addition to our site and you are right there wasn't any lag on the recording. I watched it again today.

We found out the lag is because of my internet connection. Even thou I'm on DSL it's just doesn't have a fast enough upload speed.

I won't be doing the sponsored breaks ( that will be Taliasen ) so we shouldn't have a lag in the live sponsored breaks.

Keep an eye on the SITE NEWS forum, we will announce when the 1st official break will take place.
