Tell me your favorite NFL moment too with your guess (one per member, 5 points or more), would be fun to get a great dialogue going again!

God Bless, thanks for playing!

March 24th

My favorite NFL moment would have to be the 70's. Bert Jones, The Steel Curtain, etc... I miss football from those days.

my wife and her mother are both on the 11th, so that's my pick and tks

I'm going to go with the 18th.

My favorite moment was when the Chiefs won Super Bowl iV. I was an AFL kid and the Chiefs of that era were my favorite team ever. I know more about those Chiefs teams then I do about any teams since.

Funny thing was I was a Bills fan until the 1966 AFL Championship game where the Chiefs hammered the Bills and went to Super Bowl 1. I then became a traitor and went with the Chiefs as my childhood team and stuck with them for many years.

Like the poster a couple of posts above me, I too miss the football of the 60s and 70s and I am no where near the fan of pro football that I used to be.

Oh yeah, I gotta mention that my favorite player as a kid was Otis Taylor the star wide receiver of the Chiefs. The way he played and looked he seemed to be way ahead of his time. In other words, he seemed to be a more of a modern/current day player than one from back then.

Great stories my friends , I know now football has changed, but the highlights are more available than ever. Vintage teams and games are now recognized as being truly great. The game has changed from the old guard, but the great players of the 60s and 70s will live on to new generations of fans! Keep the stories coming, fun thread!

Will announce the winner on Saturday!
