There is a story behind this one. 3 years ago at a family reunion I was talking to one of my Uncles. He is a missionary that travels to
the Dominican Republic 3 or 4 times a year. So I asked hime if he ever met any former baseball players. He goes sometimes to San
Gregorio de Nigua. And, Melido Perez is the mayor there. My Uncle meets with him to discuss programs that need to be set up. I asked
if he would try to get Mr Perez to sign a card for me. My Uncle agreed to try. I sent my Uncle some cards and low and behold I got this
in the mail today.......needless to say I was thrilled.
