Went out to Frisco to attempt to get some players from the Midland Rockhounds while they were in town. I was mainly going to get former UTA player Michael Choice. I got all the way down to the ballpark and read in the program that he was out for the season with a broken hand. I had several cards and a couple 8x10 photos for him so I was pretty bummed that I wasn't going to be able to get him. I walked over by the bullpen and their backup catcher (Ryan Lipkin) noticed my UTA baseball shirt and asked if I was looking for Choice. I told him I was and he said he wasn't on the road trip with them, but had a smart ass grin on his face and said "how bad do you want all that signed?" I told him about me being a fan since he went to UTA and Lipkin said "well, I was his best man in his wedding so if you want to leave it with me I will get it done for you and send it back". Totally awesome of him to offer to do that, so I left my items with him and he said it will probably be around September before they come back so I have something to look forward to. I was able to pick up a few autos at the game though...
