Unless your looking in their mail ,which is a federal offense, how can you justify your comment. Unless you perceive that everyone lies.
Whats the deal with that? Why no mets?
i always try to post up my source so others that want to send or purchase can do so...if i can help someone else out then i try to do so.
my personal peeve is when people dont put scans lol...it's great to hear you got one back from "whoever" but I like to see the sigs...i do realize a lot of people might not have cams or scanners...I'd just like to see the sigs though...always nice to compare or whatever.

There have been a few people who got caught telling little white lies...one kid was posting up some AMAZING returns so much so that everyone said "ok you are full of it" and he never produced any proof...then later admited it was a lie.
when other ttm's don't share addresses. I ask for stuff that I can't find or I am not sure. I want to make sure that I will have successess and can't do that if people don't share the info they know

my minor peeve is when someone posts a success, someone jumps right in with" it's fake or someone else signed it " unless you are there to see either the person who's auto you sent for or the so called ghostwriters sign theres no way to be sure so just let the person receiving the auto enjoy it.
as for the sharing the addresses, I know some people look at it as, if they took the time to search for info why share. I get mine from different sources so half the time I forget where I got em but always try to find them if someone asks. My problem is I can only sit in front of the pc for a little bit at a time ( I have a cataract in my right eye so it's hard to read & write alot ) but like I said just pm me if you see a success & I'll gladly give the info.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say Alomar does not look back fondly on his days with the Mets. Maybe he (and Roger McDowell) didn't appreciate Kramer and Newman taunting him 
I'm guilty of not posting the address sometimes. Mostly because of the guys I've been getting back lately I can't imagine anyone needing besides me and/or the address isn't handy. I'm always happy to share if someone requests and I think most people are.

2. Petty complaints, usually on other forums though. Played signed wrong card, wrong spot, using wrong color ink. Good god people how about some perspective, there are staving kids in third world countries that don't get a 1988 Topps Gary Gaetti in blue or black ink. Imagine the horror that is their lives.

great post... completely agree with that. It bugs me when people act like they are "owed" something from these guys.
My peeve is when people get upset about the players who charge. Let them be! My opinion is that most of these guys are good guys and don't mind signing for a true fan... but alot of these guys get bombarded by mail from a bunch of people who don't even necessarily know who they are or even saw them play... they just want any ol autograph they can get to toss in the pile. a fee weeds out the TTMers who don't really want the autograph. Only true fans or TTMers who truly want the autograph will pay the money. and usually it goes to good causes anywayz. This kinda falls under the "felling entitled" umbrella — "How dare Mike Torrez charge $5!! he owes me an autograph! and for free!"..... ridiculous!
as for the not posting addresses... what's the harm in taking 2 seconds to ask the other TTMer for the addy. I like sharing mine but to post people's addresses "to the world" sometimes makes me feel weird... especially if that player is unlisted in the phone book. He went to the trouble of not making his contact info public, was still nice enough to sign something for me, and I turn around and post his address for everyone to see? I don't like that.
respecting people's privacy has to be balanced into the hobby... and I know... it's hard to do...

but i show what i get for returns without addys cause i dont write them down just on the PWE i send them out in... but if someone wanted a addy and they asked me i would go and try to find it for them i like helping out others...
