I had talked to someone on here about some card shows in NC. Trying to vet some more info.

Thanks
David

With the one in Greensboro you have to pay to park too.

That's what I'm talking about. $5 I think for parking so I'd be down $9 to start with and all I would be looking for is a box of cards. Do they charge for parking in Raleigh?

I was looking at insidepitch. I was just wondering about cost of tables and table sizes and I couldnt find that on the website. Also what size of crowd to expect. Im thinking about doing a show up in Charlotte. Its about 2 hours away but I go that way about every other weekend. Guess my question is which would be the best place to do a show between Charlotte and Raleigh? I know Panthers are hot as far as football. Phillies and Braves in baseball. Some racing will move. What else do you suggest? What are the shows missing card wise that no one has or can find up there? How is pricing up there? Just want to set myself up for success if I do it.

Thanks
David

David, look under Exhibitors for cost and sizes.

At Charlotte, half the building is cards and the other half is toys, hot wheels, comics, etc. I would guesstimate there are 40-50 tables of sports cards with a pretty good mix of vintage and new stuff.

Yeah, some shows are half toys/half cards, and others are all cards. They tell you ahead of time on the schedule. Basketball is huge in North Carolina too, especially if there are UNC and Duke players involved.

Hey David if you do decide to do a show in Raleigh or Greensboro let me know as I have set up at both. I actually do better at the Greensboro show for some reason. Raleigh does have a 3 day show from Friday to Sunday with some special guest autograph signers. I use to do it with another guy and split table costs. Let me know and we can talk more about it.
Take care
Chris

I am from Raleigh so I usually go to all the shows, I don't set up a table since I am a lot younger than most people and don't really have the inventory to do that but LMK where your setup, if you decide to do one in Raleigh, and I may buy a couple boxes from you (that goes for anybody).
