Pretty good box of stuff there. Just curious, what and/or who do you collect? Reason I ask is that you can use some of that stuff to trade to get the stuff you do collect. I would be interested in the Pujols stuff, Lou Brock, and other St. Louis Cardinals. Those boxes would work great to allow you get trading material for other goodies for your collection. Either way, great job.

Very cool cards!!!
Thank you

I am a collector my pc ranges from 1888 Old Judge to 2010 amongest them are strip cards of Babe Ruth and Roger Hornsby from the 1920's to post and jello cards of the 60's over 1,300 differnt Nolan Ryans with over 6,000 Nolan Ryans total. to what you see here. If there is a dupe I trade it. if not it does go into my pc. I have built a few sets but when I buy a box the set needs to be 85% complete or I take out the Nolan Ryans, Jeter, Ripken, HOF, FHOF, and Rookies. then I trade the rest. For something I dont have. So far I have over 11,000 cards in my PC and that does not include sets.

The moments and milestones are for trade. I cant stand them sets.

Oh and thank you.

Wow, great pickups!

Thanks

I'd say you did pretty well. I like to use the per card rule when buying lots, especially if you can see ahead of time. If not, the rule still works well to see how you did. Figure each card costs you roughly $1 ($1.22 to be nearly exact). I see many cards I would pay at least a buck for, and several I would not. Overall, I think it's fair for what you got, especially if you are keeping most of it.

I did that with a GU/AU lot I won and I believe I came up with around $2-3 per card. One card was a Joe Dimaggio Old Judge auto, so it was obvious most of the cost of the lot was for that. it felt good to think if I would have paid $2-3 for every card, I really got the Joe D for $3! My math may be off some, but you get the idea.

You could say you stole the Dimaggio auto for 3.00 You did great yourself.

I espically like the early 90's Griffey's. It reminds me of when I was into cards when I was a kid, before Internet trading, cert Auto's and GU. Getting any Griffey in a pack then was extreme mojo. Thanks for sharing!

Your welcome,
I agree with you. To me it was N. Ryan, Griffey and Cal Ripken were the mojos
