Allen makes very little money, just not getting playing time. He finally got a solid chance in the rotation, and then the injury bug got him and he finished last season on the DL.
Edgar is a solid middle reliever. I am fortunate to have a lot of arms in the minors and would like to give them a shot. To do so, I have to move someone. I moved Alex Davis earlier, and he is thriving in SD. Just another arm I would like to move out.
My main wants would be a 3rd baseman, but would probably prefer young minor leaguers to develop.
Also looking to maybe swap out 3B Ronald Harris, SS Travis Moody, OF Tom Watson, SP/MR Jerry Griffin, C Pepe Concepcion
