After losing 16+ million this year, the Phillies have vowed to not let that happen again. So I will be trying to move the following players and their contracts during the off season:
Milton Bradley LF -- 15.1m for 2009 then free agent
Paul Konerko 1B -- 11.5m for 2009 then free agent
A.J. Burnett SP -- 15.6m for 2009, 17.2m for 2010
Nothing wrong with these guys, just need a different team to help them improve!! I have a fairly decent minor league system so can replace most positions but could use SP at major league level or at least major league ready. Not going to be too fussy because I need to cut salary. PLMK if you have any ideas or can help me out.
