does anyone know is psa slabs (holders) protect cards from humidity?im assuming they do because the cards ae encapsuled? your advice/thoughts please. thanks

I have seen some that I have gotten from ebay and such, and they had obvious water damage. Even the labels printed by PSA had been wet and had wrinkled. If you look at the holders, they have no cracks or such, but somehow, water did get into them. So I just don't think the seal is "all that". Just my experience.

I would say they offer a bit more protection than standard storage, but nothing worth relying on. Humidity is even capable of breaching certain seals and layers that you wouldn't imagine possible.

The best answer is to keep them in as dry of a location as possible. Same goes for any cards (and other collectables for that matter)
