Hey Benchies I want some opinions. I always use Rawlings official Major league balls for my autographs. However Ive been interested in buying balls off of ebay. One of the sellers has some smaller name guys on League Balls, so I was just curous what people think of them. Are they worth buying already signed? Or is the signature pretty much a sure thing to fade.

Im mostly interested in a few of the guys OMLB's but here is an example of what I am asking about:

Thanks for everyone's opinions!

UGH china balls SUCK! the auto will fade once u display it in light. pen or sharpie. AND IT SAYS CHINA under his name! i use to do that cuz the balls were 99 cents....waste of time and money. stick w/ the ROMLB. if u want it for **** n giggles than get it but if ur doiing it to pass down to kid or resale later in life ROMLB go with. other wise your stuck w/ a BP ball w/ a faded auto.

Thats what I really hate too it says China. Its an eyesore and I think it distracts from the signature. I will always use ROMLB IP and periodically TTM. I don't plan to sell my collection, and I'm to young to think of passing it down to a kid :D . I do thank you for your opinion and I probably won't bid except for the couple OMLB that I would like to grab, but wanted to hear opinions voiced. Thank You. Anyone else?

At one time Rawlings made black-print (as opposed to black leather) major league baseballs. They had the same look (except for the black/blue printing) as the official ones but the cost was much less. Anaconda Sports had them for $60/dozen. Suddenly they were gone and I've been looking for a suitable replacement since.

As for the "China" ... the black print balls have them, too. I had good luck putting a small piece of duct tape over China and rub. Slowly pull off the tape and *usually* most/all of the lettering comes off.
