Hey friends,

Putting a portion of my Apollo and NASA collection on the block tonight, I want to make a donation this year to Signatures for Soldiers. My friend (and fellow Benchie!) Tim Virgilio started this organization years ago as the fundraising arm of Military Missions in Action, which retrofits homes, builds wheelchair ramps, and does general necessary renovations for Veterans and their families who have disabilities.

Tim started by selling signed items and wanted to raise enough to build a few wheelchair ramps. He has since raised great money for MMIA, has relationships with a number of Major League athletes who provide him items to fundraise, and also has had a booth at the National every year!

So I am offering this NASA collection which consists of the 1969 Apollo 11 commemorative glass,

Several autographs, some harder to obtain (Ed Fendell and Walt Cunningham are inconsistent signers and are known to charge a fee),

Six cards from the 1963 Popsicle Space Series featuring John Glenn and the original Mercury astronauts,

and 8 cards from the 1969 commemorative Man on the Moon set, featuring Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Mike Collins!

Heres how this works: make me an offer, and you got the stuff, shipping is on me! If I have several people interested, highest offer takes it, as its for a donation to an awesome organization helping Veterans firsthand!

Blessings,

Kevin
