Savannah, Georgia - HELP

My wife & I are thinking of Savannah as a possible vacation spot for this summer.

Are there any fellow Benchies in that area that can give me some ideas regarding
places to stay and/or eat.

My suggestion would be to rent a cottage on Tybee Island, which is the barrier island about 20 minutes east of Savannah. It's a great, non-commercial, fairly low-price beach. I used to go twice a year when I lived in Athens.

The Crab Shack is really good food. Tybee Island is very nice. Make sure to visit River street.
