Signature Series Cards - Question

Hey guys, I'm not a big baseball card guy... never have been... yes I collect autographed Expos cards, but that's fuelled by my love for the Expos, not baseball cards. The first baseball card I ever owned was only a few years ago when I started this project.

Anywayz, to my question... How do these Signature Series cards work? I bought this off ebay maybe a month ago


Is there a chance it's fake? I just wonder because I would think that Donruss would have Pedro sign all these at the same time.... and you'd think he'd use the same Sharpie throughout in one sitting. But this card here is currently for sale on ebay:

notice mine is signed with a Blue Sharpie, the one currently listed on ebay with a black.... any reason for that? If you can enlighten me on this, would be appreciated.

The first 100 were signed in blue.

If they were faked, it was done through Donruss. Those cards didn't come as unsigned versions, so any of the Signature cards in red, green or blue were authentic.
