Steve Garvey was signing for free today at our local animal shelter (under a mile away). Easy lines, well organized and he would sign anything. He was giving away dog food branded balls and bats (signed), but we brought our own. He signed my kids Dodger Balls (8-9 Dodgers per ball now), an extra card for my youngest and my bobblehead. I gave out a few cards to kids who did not have anything.
Wally Backman came back fast, sent out two weeks ago.
Also got a return from the Red Sox, basically saying "Clay Buchholz is too busy to sign, but here's a postcard."
