I was wondering how Mr. Garvey is as a TTM signer, especially on a baseball w/ a certain inscription. I am in need of a baseball signed by Garvey w/ a specific Inscription for my collection but I have only seen cards being returned. Anyone asked for an inscription and he delivered? Should I add some $$? Thanks guys!

Garvey tends to be a sporadic TTM signer c/o the Dodgers. However, you can increase your chances if you include a donation to Palm Springs Youth Baseball. I've seen on another forum about a $10 donation is recommended.

Good luck!

Thanks a lot!! I will wait until next season and if he's still w/ the Dodgers somehow I'll send it there. Thanks again!

If you do try the donation-approach, when addressing the envelope, write "Donation Enclosed" on the bottom. Good luck!

I think I read where he was fired by the Dodgers. Something about his vocal chatter about trying to buy the club or something like that. You may be able to get him through the Dodgers, but maybe not?

I have never tried to get him after the time back in the 80s, when he was still active. Not sure why, other than I have plenty of his signatures.

I would like to hear why he doesn't sign his 82 Fleer card though, or somehow get one signed. Never seen one!
