successes from the last week 9/9 to 9/16

I have finally got time to sit down and post some things I had gotten last week. It started off real good on Monday 9/9, I had seen Ryne Sandberg at the Greg Luzinski radio show at the local casino, I had got both of them, Ryne was strictly one per but a friend of mine who doesn't collect came along so I gave him a card too. Got another HOFer in a trade from SCF Dick Williams and Lee Smith. My TTM successes were Spike Owen (he must of cleaned out something. The stamp on my return envelope was an older forever stamp and it had to be before I started collecting the 1989 topps set, because I know I had tried a couple of them with him with no return yet), Mike Kingery another one that is probably close to a year return, Ben McDonald. I was also able to pick up some consignments today from a local card store Steve Sax, Tom Candiotti, Greg Walker, Scott Fletcher. And finally an ebay set pick up of Jose Oquendo. Ryno is hard to get but as a young boy growing up in Chicago, he was a legend, along with Andre....Lee Smith was a great pitcher for some Cubs and Cardinals teams of my youth....thanks for the walk down memory lane, enjoyed it!!!
