The regular season is done, time to start thinking playoffs! Anyone else disappointed that we didn't get any game 163's?? With the way the standings stood a week out, sure looked like a real possibility!

So here we go...

WC:
Brewers @ Nats
Rays @ A's

NLDS:
Brewers/Nats winner v. Dodgers
Cardinals v. Braves

ALDS:
Rays/A's winner v. Astros
Twins v. Yankees

Astros/Dodgers seems like the logical World Series pick, but it is the playoffs, so all logic can be thrown out the window.

Brewers/Nats tonight.... Local media basically saying that if Scherzer gets in any trouble, the next man up may be Strasburg and after that Corbin. Apparently, they are not messing around in regards to going all in to win this game and get to the NLDS.

WOW!! That was fun!! Can only hope it sets the tone for the entire postseason!!

Tough break for the Brew Crew RF, but you gotta keep that ball in front of you, no matter what you think your chances are of throwing someone out somewhere!!!!

Bring on A's/Rays!

Except for Brewers fans...growing up in Minnesota during the Hrbek/Puckett/Viola/Bruno/Gaetti years, it seems that my two favorites teams (MN and MIL) lack a certain killer instinct. The 2002 Twins I thought may have had it, but completely fell apart against the Angels in the ALCS. The 2000's were a good decade but they couldn't shake the Yankees. Even in 2010 I thought that having home field would help. Nope. The 2008 Brewers were a gutty team, but rode their one horse to death. CC was super clutch that half season but he couldn't do it alone. 2011 they ran into that years version of the 87 Twins. A good team with the worst regular season record of the teams that made it, who got hot at the right time. The Cardinals are the Brewers kryptonite. Last year they just ran out of gas. Hoping against hope it would be a Twins v Brewers World Series, even though it would probably kill me. All in all the Brewers had a great season. Hope they can keep a nucleus together and make another run. Looking forward to watching ALDS Game 1 in Vegas this weekend after the Billy Idol show. Good start to the Post Season. This is what we live for.

Astros 107 vs. A's 97 or Rays 96 Yankees 103 vs. Twins 101. Should be a interesting playoff with 3 100 win teams! Best regards, David

All teams in action yesterday...some good games. Loved the Nats using Scherzer out of the bullpen - win at all costs. If you get eliminated and Scherzer is completely rested, doesn't do much good.

Astros looked real good behind Verlander..and now they have Cole/Greinke to lean on....

Yankees/Twins was tight until the Yanks broke it open late against the Twins bullpen...

Cardinals/Braves...thought the Cards were in the drivers seat with Flaherty going. Everyone talks about the Duvall HR, but the lone run would have held up, since the Cards offense didn't show up at all.
