Eagles turned out to be a pretty easy choice! Chiefs probably took a bunch of people down all over the place....
Jay Gruden the first coach gone this season, as the Redskins place the blame for their putridness on him - this may be a case of him being bad, but that job is made even more difficult due to the owner. Who will be the next to go???? I hear what Jerry Jones is saying, but if the Cowboys can't put it together, my money would be on Jason Garrett as the next to go.
Another helmet first launch job in the Steelers/Ravens game leaves the Steelers with their 3rd string guy as their QB. I have said it a million times - if the players in the NFL arent' willing to clean up their acts in terms of how they hit each other with total disregard for injury, the NFL shouldn't be liable for the resulting injuries and issues 10 -20 years after retirement.
Burficts appeal of his season long suspension is denied. He will be sitting out the rest of the season! Hopefully that sends a message to not only him, but everyone else that leads with the helmet and contributes to dangerous plays. The players are the NFL product - if you keep knocking them out, the product on the field won't be as good.....
didn't see this game - but heard there were some major complaints with the officiating.
The Redskins get a win, and since the NFC East is so bad, they are only 2 games out of first place.
Rams/Chiefs struggling a bit right now. The Pats have already clinched home field throughout the playoffs. And San Francisco is the only other undefeated left.
Didn't even mention another player forcing a trade to get away from a team he is unhappy with -- Jalen Ramsey getting traded to the Rams for two first round picks. Not sure if this helps the Rams as much as they think... Their window may be closed after this year with all the high dollar deals they will have in place - because you know they didn't deal two first rounders for Ramsey to be there for 10 games......

Mahomes leaves early in last nights game -- dislocated knee cap - that just sounds ugly and painful. potentially 3+ weeks out of action.
Actually watched a little bit of football yesterday (baseball playoffs washed out by rain). So of course, what game do I get to watch..the SF/WASH 9-0 slugfest in the pouring rain that was keeping me from the baseball fields. Ahhh..what fun!!

Another nail biter for the Patriots last night....The AFC East is just the gift that keeps on giving to Brady/Belichik! And to top it off, they go out and get Mo Sanu from the Falcons - as if they needed another weapon. Although I can't stand them....they sure do a lot of things that keep them on a winning track.

yup - I took Minnesota in my pool - home team on thursday night...and it is the hapless redskins coming to town. Seemed like a no brainer. Didn't watch the game though...
