The '74 Topps is an Astros manager/coaches card that I already got signed by Preston Gomez, Grady Hatton, and Bob Lillis. Very cool day, indeed!

Scan or Ban! :D

I do need to set one up, don't I? :D

I'm just kicking myself for not getting this to Hub Kittle before he passed away in '04. Hub was the 'stros pitching coach in '74 for Preston Gomez, and was one of the most colorful individuals who has ever graced the game. In 1973, when the Astros were playing the Tigers in a (no, I'm not making this up) MID-SEASON exhibition game, Hub talked Leo Durocher into letting him pitch an inning. After all, they let Jerry Lewis play first base. Why not, right? After one of the first pitches Hub threw, the home plate ump asked to look at the ball and threw it out of the game. Hub threw a spitter and a side panel was covered w/ tobacco juice.

Still...it's a very cool looking card!

Great stuff...hope to get my Craigs back soon as well, Jim!!

Typically, yes. He normally charges $5 per sig and has been doing so for quite some time. However, in the past couple of weeks there have been some returns without the fee. I seriously doubt that will last.
