I sent the block of '69 World Series Phantom tickets to Mr. Bouton, along with a donation, and he quickly sent the block back with an awesome signature (to go along with Dierker, Wynn, Gladding, Miller, Edwards, Menke, and Lemaster who had already added their sigs). Glad to get this back in time for Fan Fest this weekend!

By the way, did you know the '69 Astros pitching staff set (at that time, at least) the major league record for most strikeouts in a season? In 2013, the Tigers had three hurlers with 200 or more strikeouts. In 1969, the Astros also had three with 200 or more K's: Dierker, Wilson, and rookie Tom Griffin. That was a flame throwing staff. The man who threw the record breaking pitch to earn the K to put the staff in the record book, however, was none other than...Jim Bouton, a knuckleballer.
