TOP18 Banned?

Can someone update me on why TOP18 is on the banned list?

I had five or so great sale transactions with him, with no issues of receiving payment in the agreed time frame. Although, my last sale to him came just before I deployed and I sent the cards ahead of receiving payment, just so I knew that that they arrived before I left. He was paying with paypal, which is how most of our transactions worked.

I know sending first is not advised and I'm not looking to recoup anything from the botched transaction. It was only $32 worth of cards. I just thought he would come through like always. I'm just curious if this happened to others and that's why he is banned.

I also had several completed transactions with him, and all of them involved money either going or coming.

Had I a trade with him....and everything was going great..got the cards and waiting for him to get his cards when.....he was ban from the site. Best regards, David

He obviously violated Bench rules in some form or another to get banned. We’re usually pretty easy to work with, but it’s all at the mod team’s discretion. Keep in mind we’ve had site leaders over the years that were great for a long time but ended up banned for various reasons. Trust the system is working and be glad the mods are working behind the scenes

Oh, I am not questioning. Sorry if it came across that way. I just added my two cents that I did have several deals with him, and sent him probably close to $100 in various transactions, and I myself did not have a problem.

I had a sale pending with him, that he confirmed. but never made payment.
I contacted him a couple of times and he finally asked me for my Paypal address
and promised payment as soon as he received it. Still waiting for payment.
I ended up canceling the sale.

I often wondered why the Bench never says why a person was banned or suspended. Evan when they put there address down they don't say why.

Sometimes they do.....previous ban member trying to get back on the bench....or member ban from other sites. Best regards, David

There is actually an entire thread of banned/suspended members and the reason why it happened.

it hasn't been update lately - but it is there and available for all to see.

I have to say due to a combination of good luck and being a good judge of character, I have never had a bad internet trade since I began doing this in 2002. I have not even lost a package, either inbound or outbound, in that nearly 2 decade time frame. That is a run of good fortune I hope to continue.

I read some of that banned and suspended members topic a while back and no one who showed up on it was anyone I had ever traded with.

Just to put this to rest. TOP18 demanded that his account be removed. His request was processed.
