TOPPS losing MLB License

Don’t know if this is true but I read something that Topps is losing its MLB license after next year to Fanatics. Oh No!! I only collect Topps base sets. However this article did say that Fsnatics may buy Topps and it’s archives or just hire Topps’ staff. Anyone have information on this?

Yes. Fanatics did buy Topps company.... and Topps staff will continue to make Baseball cards under the name of Topps. Best regards, David

They aren't losing their license. They were bought out by Fanatics and Fanatics will continue to produce Topps cards.
