Warnings

Hello, I can't seem to find an answer to my question.

A few years ago (2009), I received a warning for "Spammed Advertisements" from Taliasen, who I noticed is on the suspended/banned list.

At any rate, I am just wondering if these warnings ever go away or if it really affects me as a Bench user at all.

I think he may have actually even voided the warning because the link included in the PM he sent me still seems to work and hasn't ever been closed.

From what I have understood, the warnings do expire but stay on your profile so that only MODs can see them.

It's simply there as a record for the moderator team...that way we can track previous infractions or warnings given, also noting the fact there are multiple moderators and thousands of members.

It is only viewable to yourself and the moderators. Think of it as your 'record' or something similar. You may have got that ticket at age 15 twenty years ago, but somewhere someone still knows you did it.

As far as having an effect on your Bench status, none whatsoever unless you decide to conduct yourself towards further issues, etc.

And yes, Taliasen is no longer on the moderator team, he has been gone for some time.
