The Celtics charged out since the Super Bowl, sounds like Boston is responding to the momentum. So in honor of the Celts doing well, and since they were my Dad and Grandpa's favorite team, I will put up two custom cut signature cards, Hall of Famers Don Nelson

and JoJo White

for today's contest.

Numbers 1-75, one guess per member per day, open to everyone. Let's have some lively discussion too, that is what makes the Bench great, and I have had a blast "threadsitting" for my past contests!

I am going to end this Monday night 2.13.17 at 8 pm CST, winning guess or closest one gets the cards!

God Bless, thanks in advance for playing!

Kevin

33 is my number today
Celtics have always been great but back in the days the celtics were the greatest with Bill Russell Bob Cousy and crew they were tremendous

Those are nice customs....since I know nothing about basketball I will refrain from the contest but thanks for doing it Kevin.

46 please. I really loved the Laker/Celtic Championship games. Especially Bird vs. Magic. Being a Laker fan, it's too bad that the Celtics usually won.

Numbers taken: 4, 12, 17, 21, 29, 33, 39, 44, 46, 52, 65, 69, 72, 73.

Chief and a few others referenced this. I was born in 1981 (Larry Bird's first Championship year!) so I remember firsthand the teams of the 80s, since that was what was on a LOT at my parents' house, and my Dad's parents house, as his Dad was a great Celtics fan too. Grampa Johnny remembered all the way back to the teams of the late 40s and early 50s, and he had actually played in a Chicago league against George Mikan, probably the first great center!

#8 today. Marc Iavaroni from the Sixers - the one team who challenged the Lakers/Celtics during late 70's/early 80's.

I'll guess 59.

Both White and especially Nelson were prominent when I first started watching basketball back in the day. I never could figure out how Nelson did it with that set shot of his. I was a big Baltimore/Capital/Washington Bullets and ABA fan back then.

Did you know JoJo White's son is an actor? I am familiar with him from a recurring role in "The Shield" but it looks like he has had a pretty good film and TV career. I think his name is Brian White.
