I have a padded envelope of random cards that I'd like to giveaway to one of my fellow Benchies, but I have 2 simple steps that must be met to be eligible for the contest. If no winner by Friday night, then closest pick will be winner. In case of a tie, I will flip a coin.

1. Pick a number 1 to 50

2. What did you want to be when you were a child? (I wanted to be a Lawyer, until I looked in the phone book and saw thousands of listings).

The cards will be a mix of commons, stars, rookies, a few inserts and a Rookie Autograph of Aníbal Sánchez.

Thanks,
Billy

Previous winners are not eligible to play.

17....

as a 6-year-old my answer was a race driver....by 10 it was either pro football or baseball player....by 18 it was baseball card dealer/shop owner....by 25 it was unemployed lottery winner :)

No winner yet. Did anyone become what they wanted to be when they were little?

Numbers guessed: 17, 19, 22, 27, 42, 43, 44

Thanks,
Billy

My guess is 6

The first thing I remember wanting to be, when I was young, was an Egyptian Archaeologist. I ended up staying in the same department, got my Ph.D. in Latin Philology, and am a Latin teacher today. So relatively close I guess!

I'll go with 3. I wanted to be a pro athlete first a Detroit Tiger in baseball and then an AFL football player and lastly in Jr. High/ Middle School I wanted to be a pro basketball player either with the Bullets or an ABA team.
