I just finished "Unbroken" and found an address on google in the Hollywood Hills and sent him a letter last week. He signed my two index cards and included the photo. What a guy! If you are looking for an amazing book to read... I recommend "Unbroken".

Have a nice Thanksgiving friends!

Congrats on your pick up with him!

I e-mailed him a while back and they requested a donation to him for his auto. Did you send any money?

That is a cool success! His is a heck of a story! I have that on my reading list for the Holidays.

Can you tell me what it is about?

Mr. Zamperini is a local hero. He ran track at USC and the Olympics and survived horrific POW camp. He was lost at sea for weeks and if I say anymore, I'd spoil the book. Unbroken was written by the same author who wrote Seabiscuit and I have no doubt that they will make this into a movie at some point. Excellent read.

No. I wrote him last week and included an SASE. I would use a larger return envelope (think card), as he folded the photo he included.

Thanks!
