Sorry, but I've never heard of the guy. I've been collecting for over 20 years, I must have missed this guy completely.

I'm glad you have one to sell, and I hope you do well with it.

Dominating closer back when closer pitched more than 1 inning. Looks like finished in the top 5 for Cy Young 4 times and a win. Auto no so expensive just for his pitching skills, but also because it is extremely hard to find as he does not usually sign.

The 1/1 is a joke of a price, but you never know when someone with more money then they know what to do with will bite. I suppose since there is only (1) 1/1 Marshall autograph out there, the market will decide it's true price, but $2500 is ridiculous in my opinion. I could see it sell in the $500+ range very easily, maybe even topping a grand if the right collector saw it.

Many, many players would be on my list before dropping $2500 on Marshall!

I remember many of the cards selling in the $100-150 range when they were new. I bought a glove version, but the auto has slowly bled and looks like crap. I wish now (if only I could see the future!!) I would have paid a little more for the ball version, which seemed to have survived OK.
