Just wondering some thoughts on these cards real or not.
The guy posted them as reprints under the ebay rule... I never heard of that maybe because they are older cards.
But doing more research on the cards they don't appear to be real but... its hard to tell.
They all would be very valueable if I am indeed wrong.
Just wondering!

Look at it this way, if you had a card potentially worth 4-5 figures, why on earth would you not get it verified instead of listing it as a possible reprint where it will almost assuredly sell for 1-2 figures? It's like buying a Rolex for $25 from a guy who operates from a 1974 Chevy Van and starts the conversation with "PSSST, Buddy, need a watch?" and thinking it might not be fake.

Pretty sure the Jackson is a reprint. In fact, I would say those are all reprints. Two reasons someone would buy those at those prices:

1. They don't know it's fake.
2. They are planning to resell to someone who doesn't know it's fake.

Here is a Cracker Jack card from my collection.

Next is a Joe D like the Lou and Jackson. These were like buisness cards and i believe that Lou and Jackson is real:

I have seen Lou Gherig, Babe Ruth, Shoeless Joe Jackson and Joe D. As you can see there is an advertisment on the back.
The cracker jack card is definetly not real in my oppion. It is way to white to be vintage. Plus it looks like heavy stock. The real ones were on thin thin stock.

valediction: Good Point! I think its sometimes too good to be true and I have been a victom of fake items I purchased once or reprint and I know its not fun.

I knew the paige was definatley not real and I agree on the Joe Jackson Cracker Jack, the color looked too nice to me.

I appreciate your guys opnions! I enjoy collecting and collecting vintage cards but I don't want reprints. Everything you guys said I agree I thought the same on all of them.
Thanks!:)
