Hey Guys,

I just got a collection from a guy who has a ton of these cards. Complete sets, partial complete sets, unopened packs ect. I am just looking to learn more about these cards. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Topps made a parallel of their baseball set that was given to troops, but there were several card sets made by different companies depicting Desert Storm war figures. These are pretty widely available still, and pretty cheap because of that. Which company made yours? They would be listed in the non-sports price guides.

Yes exactly like that. I guess they are not anything special eh? I thought I remember a lot of hype around these cards a year or two back? Maybe just someone looking for them...

Not really worth anything. They were mass produced, there were no insert cards, and other than maybe an interest in Colin Powell and George H.W. Bush which rate maybe $0.50 to $1 there isn't a single collectible card in the bunch.

Hey Guys,
I am not sure I am going to trade or sell them at the moment, but keep an eye out if I do decide to get rid of them I will post here first.

David, I do not seem to have any of the baseball ones just random cards of military cards. What exactly are they worth if anything?

I believe the baseball ones referred to are a special Desert Shield version of Topps Baseball with a Gold Embossment of the Shield. They were distributed to the troops overseas and made their way back here, they go for 100x the regular which means $5 for a common.

Also there are two sets of the desertstorm set. Im not talking about the baseball set set. On the shield on the card there is either yellow or brown. One set is harder than the other. I have both sets but has been a long time so dont know which one is harder.
