Ernie Banks collection

Superpieman and I are the only two people I have seen that collect Ernie Banks as much as we do. I am very proud of mmy collection and on beckett it is valued at $1,500 not including the autograph seat relic or the 59 graded or the 58 auto. The auto seat relic is my favorite card and i pulled it when I was 9 or 10 out of a $20 box of topps heritage. I collect anything of Ernie Banks so if you have something not pictured below please tell me. Thanks and enjoy looking.

Very nice! Great-looking vintage cards. One of the highlights of last year for me was pulling a Triple Threads Banks auto. Great player and a great collection!

I was thinking about a PC of him but decided it was out of my price range, so I decided on Mark Grace instead.

Very nice.... I too collect Mr.Cub. I have every regular issue and insert of him during his playing days 1954-1971, except for 1964 Topps Stand-ups and the 1971 Baseballs Greatest moments. I also have him on a 1973 Cubs coaches card. I just added an exhibits card to my PC....

Love seeing the Banks collections, as I've been collecting his stuff for about 30 years. This past summer I picked up a Home Run Derby card from '59. Along with the Robert Gould card and figure and the Chemstrand patch, it's been one I've been searching for several years. Prized possessions would be his GU coach's jersey from '74, and GU bat from the 68-71 era, and the retired number flag that flew over Wrigley back in '08. I've basically backed away from cards in recent years to look for more vintage stuff and display pieces for my man cave of an attic. Once it's done this summer, I'll try to take some pictures and post for all you Ernie fans.
