about what? a 1972 TOPPS #686 STEVE GARVEY Graded 9 BV's for 300 plus. sounds like its priced for the graded value it has. only htink i dont know is how many 9's are out there obviously one of them is out there. but sounds correctly priced, as for s/h thats avg if your dumb enough to drop 300 on a card and except to get it at 2 s/h your in for possible major loss.

took me a second what was wrong with this posting though. the title says Garvey the card shows Eddie Fisher. for me if he is this careless in posting pics what other things is he trying to pull over on a unattentive buyer? so i guess i sould read mopars post better too uggggg its been a long day already. still if he does have the garvey the price is still right.

The price is around market for that card. I've seem then go cheaper, but not by a bunch. The picture is what cracked me up. I was expecting Garvey and got Fisher! I'd wonder if I was actually getting Garvey or Fisher at that point.

Which would be defendable in a court of law? If you bid, it's a contract. So, what happens if you fail to notice before bidding and get something you don't want due to a mismatch between photo and description? I have seen both mistakes before.

I figure you have to have an item if it's photographed (unless you are stealing scans), but you can always mistype a description.

I always go by what is said in the auction description, I figure they just made a booboo when uploading the picture. The exception is when they obviously had a mental block when typing the listing. I collect Jeff Weaver and when I search his stuff on eBay there's always 1 or 2 Jered Weaver cards listed as Jeff. That being said, I usually avoid those auctions unless it's something I NEED...because you never know.

If you didn't ask any questions, and paid the amount desired by the seller, I bet you would even receive the Fisher. "Mistakes" tend to happen more often in favor of the seller. lol. Happy Holidays,
