You say no special paper, but do you have to at least print it out on label paper? Or can you print it out on plain sheets and just tape it to the package? Thanks,
Brian

plain white printer paper is just fine....print your label then cut it out and tape it to the mailer ...from my personal experience , SCOTCH brand MAILING AND STORAGE TAPE works best....they have another variety that's very similar and sometime a WEE BIT cheaper , but i found that it's coarser doesn't adhere to the mailer quite as well ....

Awesome, thanks.

just log in to your pay pal account and look for the "multi-order shipping" link (normally it's either on the right side of the page or perhaps in your user menu up top...

from there you can IMPORT your orders (from ebay or other commercial sites) or CREATE them manually (for virtually any address in the US)....if you're making a label for a trade done here , simply choose CREATE , fill in the blanks , save it and then pay and print....voila ! a label that's cheaper than going to the post office...

if you want to use a credit/debit card instead of pay pal , you can go directly to the USPS website ( http://www.usps.com/ ) and follow the on-screen instructions....

Thanks a lot!! I'm going to test it out.

one other addendum :

for domestic packages , the rate is the EXACT SAME for packages weighing 1-3 ounces meaning there is no longer any advantage in listing a package as 1 or 2 oz....so just to play it safe , i ALWAYS enter a weight of 3 ounces (unless it's over that of course)....different card stocks can have different weights , but IN GENERAL , 3 ounces will cover up to 18-20 regular cards , 14-15 chrome , or 6-9 game used....

a GREAT tool to have is a small postal scale though i actually used a small diet scale for several years with no problems...

Thanks for the tip, printing online then cutting the label out and taping it to the bubble mailer seemed like too much of a hassle to me before, but at a savings around 30 cents per package if I make 20 trades a month that adds up to $6...enough to buy a cool card. I'll give it a try.

When printing my own shipping labels, the monetary savings are merely a secondary benefit to the amount of time I save by never having to set foot in a post office!

This is freaking awesome!!!

Just printed my first label and it worked great!!! Huge time saver plus it will be easy to keep track of how much I spend on postage because it uses the papypal account. My wife will like this because I never have to raid our "stash" for postage for trades!!

Thanks for taking the time to give us detailed instructions. The Bench is pretty darn cool. :D

happy to help....

one other thing that may come in handy for those who trade player /team lots or sets that are too large for bubble mailers :

you can get flat rate boxes for free by going to the USPS website ...you'll have to register and put items in your shopping cart , but all the priority boxes and forms (insurance , customs declarations , etc) are FREE...just place your order and your carrier will deliver them with your mail , usually within 3-5 business days....

i know they just added a new size flat rate box so there may be a minor delay in getting that one added as an option for pay pal labels , but i know you can print your small flat rate labels at a lower rate than if you take it in to the PO...
