Joe Pepitone & Doc Gooden autos

I picked these up at a local card shop for $5 and even if the Gooden is not real I still could not pass up the Pepitone. How about it any Doc Gooden experts out there. Is it real or a fake?

hmm, Id say yes looking at his other autos. However, the "doc" seems a little different

That is what I was looking at also. But with the "dot" on his neck it seems it was signed "Dwight".

he didt use dwight as much as he did Doc, that may be a special card

I don't like the Gooden. Seems crazy to think someone would forge his name, as much as he signs, but it just doesn't look right- for even an early sig, IMO.

Depends on a lot of factors, as you know....standing vs. sitting, era, location, crowd.....who knows, but two great pick ups just the same!
