Opened a blaster of the new GQ and pulled a Bryce Harper base card, #100, that is indented with a strange looking symbol diagonally across the card. It looks like a letter "I" with diamonds on either end of the "I". You can not see it in a scan but it is almost like a watermark but indented into the card. At first I thought it was a machine mark from a roller that may have pushed the sheets of cards through the cutter but I have never seen this "perfect" looking indentation before. Otherwise the card looks perfect. Anyone seen this before? Any help is appreciated. Unless this is something "special", the card is junk because of the marking. Too bad it was a Harper as it is the only one I have. LMK, Thanks

Sounds like it might be some sort of parallel perhaps. your description reminds me of the embossed cards that topps did a few years back. they were buybacks and were embossed with a seal. I don't remember them being all that popular, but who know on this issue.

Well if ya do decide to part with it let me know. Have some harpers if ya want harpers for it. Couple diff chromes and inserts.
