Hey guys, I just wanted to show off my Sox auto PC as a whole. To make it easier to view, I've grouped them 6 at a time. Any feedback is appreciated, and if you're moving any nice Sox autos, let me know. Thanks!

Nice collection! Funny that I noticed that only 3 of the sigs are in Black while all the rest are in Blue - I guess we know which is a more common ink color!

I noticed that too, haha. I don't care what the ink color is, as long as the auto looks nice.

Nice! Baines always seemed to be under the radar. Great player!

Thanks
Craig

Thanks Craig! Baines is definitely underrated. I also feel Tim Raines is as well.

I was able to get this picture with Mr. Minoso outside of Wrigley on Opening Day in 2008. He was there for the unveiling of the Ernie Banks Statue. I couldn't believe it when I saw him standing all alone. Nobody knew who he was up to that point. (I kind of ruined that for him) He was VERY nice. He has HUGE hands! I sent him the photograph later, along with a donation to his charity for the signature.

Thanks
Craig

Nice collection. Danish is legit I think. Saw him in bristol last year, nice kid. I know it is rookie ball, but you could just see the difference. There was a different sound when the ball hit the mitt.

Super cool that you got to meet him. Why are you wearing a Cubs jacket though? :(

Cool, that's awesome to hear. We need pitching, so hopefully he lives up to his potential.

Here's a few new additions.

Bobby Thigpen pitched for the White Sox from 1986 to 1993. In 1990, he had 57 saves, and made the All Star team. He finished with 201 career saves. It's also pretty cool because he has my dad's birthday to the tee. They were both born on July 17, 1963. :)

Joe Borchard played for the Sox from 2002 to 2005. His best season was in 2004, when he hit .174 with 9 homeruns and 20 RBIS. He was traded to Seattle and the Sox got Matt Thornton, so at least he was useful for something. :)!

Brandon McCarthy pitched for the Sox from 2005 to 2006. He didn't do much for the Sox, but he was traded for John Danks, who's pretty good.

Just one addition today, but I really like this card.

Wilbur Wood pitched for the White Sox from 1967 to 1978. He was a 3 time All Star (1971, 1972, and 1974). He led the league in wins in 1972 and 1973. My dad also likes this card because he started collecting in 1972.

Thanks.

What's that Twins card doing in there?! (one I still need, actually ;)

I've got this one looking for a good home: 2004 Playoff Memorabilia Rookie Spectrum #309 Ruddy Yan [034/250]

I wish AJ had a Sox auto. :( What do you need in trade for the Yan?

Outstanding.

Thank you. I picked up this bad boy yesterday.

Jon Garland went 18-10 with a 3.50 ERA, 115 strikeouts, and led the AL with 3 shutouts in 2005. He also made the All Star Team that year and was critical to the starting rotation that led the Sox to win the World Series.

This was fun to look at, as I grew up in the Chgo area and went to a lot of Sox games as a young boy. Lots of fun memories, often of great players on both teams. For example, I got to see Bo Jackson as a Royal and with the Sox in various years, and of course Raines, Ray Durham, and others I have always liked. Last game I went to, a couple got engaged during the game a few rows in front of us. Fun atmosphere, and thanks for sharing some great signatures!

God Bless,

Kevin Mc

Very cool Kevin! I have lived in the Chicago area for my entire life as well, and I will always have memories of going to Sox games with my grandpa.

Never made it to a game with my Grandfather, he was through going to games by 1981 when I was born, though he was always a great Sox fan! I have a laminated poster that he gave me of the old Comiskey (still the best in my humble opinion!) that hangs on our wall with all the rest of our memorabilia from over the years.....fun memories, keep the great scans coming! Louis Apparicio and Nellie Fox were his two favorites, cool to see the auto card from Louis you have, he is a living legend!

Very cool. I love my Aparicio auto. I'd love to get an Appling or Lyons auto eventually.

Here are a few new additions.

Mark Buehrle is a 4 time All Star, has thrown a No-Hitter and a Perfect Game, and even saved game 3 of the '05 World Series. My Grandpa was at his Perfect Game and Buehrle is one of his favorites. I wish Mark was still on the Sox, but I wish him nothing but the best.

Albert Belle played for the White Sox in 1997 and 1998. He was an All Star in '97 and won the Silver Slugger in '98. He had 49 homeruns and 152 RBI's that year, which broke Zeke Bonura's franchise record.
