Topps Chrome N F L

24 packs - 4 cards per pack
One Rookie Auto per box

I received the following:

img535_zpsewak2rab.jpg

25 base - no dupes -- 25% of 100 card vet set
24 rookie cards - no dupes -- 24% of rookie set

This year's Topps Chrome is a good issue - vets are a bit dark but rookies look great! The cards are printed on a thicker than usual stock - or it seems that way to me. This will be a excellent grab for the set builder, the rookie collector and the player collector. One will need 4-6 hobby boxes to complete a base set of both rookies and vets.

I like the action shots with other players on the card - very little photoshopping... just great shots... The player collectors will have numerous parallels to chase - green, blue, cloud, red, pink, refractor, and xfractor to name a few... PLUS the Super Rookie cards in their variations as well.

Inserts/Parallels

One xfractor -- Frank Gore
8 Refractors -- I believe!! STILL no definitive marking to denote Refractor!!

2 Green refractors - CJ Anderson, C. Palmer
1 Pink #ed to 399 - A. Jeffery
1 Blue #ed to 199 - M. Williams

Retro Chrome / Super Rookie

Retro - C. Newton, J. Allen, T. Gurley
Super Rook -- P. Dorsett, D. Cobb, M. Gordon, B. Petty

Cloud Refractors

Die Cut - On The Fifty

Can you say HOT BOX -- 25 cloud refractors!!!

Die cut - Lawrence Taylor

Auto

Tony Lippett

Sticker auto - The certified auto designations are smaller than usual on the card.

Overall grade A -- I like the thicker stock of Topps Chrome NFL!

Go buy several boxes and see if you can hit a hot box!!
