One of the most interesting cards in football history. As you know this is not the correct Jim Taylor of the Packers but a journeyman linebacker for the Cardinals. I think this Jim Taylor's NFL career was already over when this card was produced. Here's the 59 Jim Taylor I nabbed for 12 bucks - not as sharp as the Hornung from last month, but I deem it acceptable for my mid-grade Ex+ set.
In real life, the card isn't so red.
Still looking for Unitas, Starr, and Jim Brown.

The 60 Jim Taylor Packers RB also pictures the Cardinals Jim Taylor. First correct picture is the 61.One of the most interesting cards in football history. Leave it to the poor Cardinals (Chicago Cardinals in this case) to have the wrong Jim Taylor on their roster! No woner they have not won an NFL Champioship since 1947!!!!
Oh my gosh, you are correct. I forgot all about that UER. The funny part is the wrong Jim Taylor's last year was 1958 which was a year and two before these cards were produced. This glaring error does show it was a much bigger world back then and the NFL was no where ner the huge deal it is today or that error would have been easily caught. The 60 Jim Taylor Packers RB also pictures the Cardinals Jim Taylor.
