Hello All, I created this list of apps and sites that help collectors find the values of their cards. I thought some of you might find this helpful. I think finding accurate card prices is not always easy. This list contains both pay and free tools. Enjoy!😃

If you know of any others I haven't mentioned here please add them.

Digital & Real-Time Market Trackers

  • Market Movers (by Sports Card Investor): A comprehensive data tool that provides price charts, sales volume, and historical trends for thousands of cards across multiple sports. https://www.marketmoversapp.com

  • Card Ladder: A highly regarded platform for accurate, vetted sales data. It focuses on high-end and popular cards, providing "Value Indicators" and manual verification of sales to filter out "shill" bidding. https://www.cardladder.com

  • 130Point: A free and essential tool for collectors to look up eBay "Best Offer" accepted prices, which are otherwise hidden on the eBay platform.
    https://130point.com

  • Collx App: The Collx app allows for collectors to take a photo of their card and it will provide values for the card without you needing to type in year, set, player etc. A great way if you are someone who doesn't know much about the card in question. You can also track your overall portfolio or collection value.

  • Card Hedge AI:
This website describes itself as ā€œThe most comprehensive price guide for sports cards, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh & more. Track real-time values, market trends, and get AI-powered insights for 3.3M+ cards.ā€ It also appears they have a robust api for developers and collectors alike. https://ai.cardhedger.com

Traditional & Graded Card Guides

  • Beckett (Online & Print): Historically the industry standard for price guides. Beckett continues to offer an Online Price Guide (OPG) and monthly magazines for Baseball, Basketball, Football, and Hockey. https://www.beckett.com/online-price-guide

  • PSA Price Guide (SMR): This guide is specific to cards graded by Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA). It is an excellent resource for determining the "premium" value assigned to specific grades (e.g., PSA 9 vs. PSA 10). Even more valuable is PSAs ā€œAuction Prices Realizedā€ tool. Using this tool a collector can look up any card and see recently sold listings for PSA graded cards. https://www.psacard.com/auctionprices

  • Vintage Card Prices (VCP): A specialized guide strictly for vintage cards. It is considered a must-have for serious collectors of pre-1980 cards, tracking historical auction results for graded examples. https://vintagecardprices.com/

Free Community & Search Tools

  • RookieCardPrices.com: A helpful resource focused specifically on the price trends and guides for rookie cards across different sports primarily baseball. This site also contains a comprehensive data on players and card sets plus tracks both raw and graded values.

  • Mavin: A search engine that helps you estimate the value of your cards by comparing them to similar active and sold listings.

  • Sports Card Pro: A free alternative that uses automated algorithms to track eBay sales and provide estimated values for various grades.

Thanks for doing this. I use Beckett Football OPG. I've never had any issues with finding cards listed that I have. If you're looking to find value of a card numbered xx/15 or less then you would be better off comparing it to a similar card sold online. The "Organize" feature is very nice. I can separate each set or sport or player into its own list which makes it easy to see what cards you may need to finish a set.
The downside of the organize is when calculating total value of cards you have put in a certain list it counts those low numbered cards that cant be valued (xx/15 and lower) as $0. That gives a false total value which you have to remember when using that feature.
There's also the extremely rare occasion when you look up a card that isn't low numbered and a value isn't given. You can look at other cards in the set and they aren't listed either. But again, this is very rare.
I've never tried any of the other online tools listed, but will be testing and comparing them to Beckett's OPG to see if the monthy fee is worth it. Thanks again!
