Don't know much about it other than I will be attending at least one of the days. Free autos of some former Orioles. Will be hoping to find some vintage deals. If anyone has an inclination to attend - let me know, lots of great places to meet up for a beer!

Wish it was a bit closer to home, looks like a good show.

Keep us posted on how it is.
10/10 would NOT go back. It wasn't a baseball card show. It was another Pokemon show with some sports card tables. The setup wasn't great in terms of room to maneuver in the aisles. Too many card bois with their stupid cases and suitcases. Too many tables just fully blocked by people trying to sell and looking at their phones for comps and haggling down to the last penny.

The only card I was interested in was a 1976 George Brett - I knew I was going to be looking for it, so checked the last 20 or so ebay sales last night so I knew what I would offer. It is maybe a $15 card raw - dude wanted $120 for it. Asked why the discrepancy - I know what I have and it will grade at least an 8 or 9. Shrugged my shoulders and walked away.

Oh, no that sounds like it wasn’t a lot of fun.

I go to a lot of shows, but am usually stuck behind my table and don’t get the attendee experience. The shows that are both Pokémon and sports can be difficult, but usually there are a few folks that have common sense. Doesn’t seem like that was one of those times.

"Will grade at least an 8 or 9". The key part being "at least". Could even be a 10. LMAO!!!!!

Sounds to me like a real grading "expert". You know the kind whose cards are "at least an 8 or 9" but if you had that same exact card it would be a 4 in his opinion.

Geez, I cannot believe how Pokemon has seemingly overtaken sportscards. I hear that same thing from almost everyone who sets up or just attends shows these days. As much as surprise about the resurgence in sportscards that occured during the Pandemic the popularity of Pokemon is even more surprising.

I'm glad you did not buy that 1976 Brett as I can give you a better deal. I have one that will grade at least an 8 or 9 that I can let you have for $119.95. PM if interested. No need to overpay for one. LMAO!!!!
