1/1 printing plate 2011 Bowman.

I think the 85 Topps football were my favorite issue, other than 83. Loved the horizontal orientation. Here's one for today!

I think his family donated his brain to a facility for head trauma due to many concussions........Read a little bio on his life and he seemed like a cool dude even though he lived near PhillyAfter all the talk about this guy, I had to find his Cowboys card. Only played 1 season in Dallas but at least he got a card made from the deal

Even though I know McDonald only played one year with Dallas, I always think of him as a Cowboy because of this card! Talk about first impressions! After all the talk about this guy, I had to find his Cowboys card. Only played 1 season in Dallas but at least he got a card made from the deal

Philadelphia seemed to be much simpler in design than Topps. Fleer did a good job, but going up against Topps and Philadelphia they didn't have a chance. Topps cards didn't allow your eyes to get away from all the extra stuff they put on them... banners, stars, big footballs. Their '63 set tried not to overwhelm the eye, but gave the borders a god-awful color. Philadelphia was simplistic allowing your eyes to go straight to the player, not bounce around wondering what to look at.Even though I know McDonald only played one year with Dallas, I always think of him as a Cowboy because of this card! Talk about first impressions!
Man I just LOVED those Philadelphia Football cards! I'm not sure why they stopped producing them after a 4 year run of awesome sets (1964-1967). My brother kids me about my Philadelphia sets being me "Crown Jewels" of my collection. because I'm so enamored with them. LOL.
Get a haircut hippie!
Bicentennial numbered card!! Very cool!
