I love the old Post Cereal cards except for the trimming issues. But they sure fit a ton of stuff on the fronts of their cards!!

Right, or he'd be a "minor star" in Beckett pricing terms. My thing is, if someone were to hit .400 now would that make people realize high average is a good thing or would it be like oh that's nothing

the other vintage i got yesterday. For less than a hanger of 26 Topps. In darn good condition for being nearly 70 years old too

No, not at all, sir. I will say that you are only a new teenager older that i am, so i appreciate the whipper snapper comment, BUT....some times in the morning the bones feel like a 57 Chevy that has sat in a museum for 40 years.
If there was ever a real life Seinfeld reaction to an actual trade it was Tom Brunansky to the Cardinals for Tommy Herr. Yes Bruno struggled to start the 88 season and Herr never wanted to come to MN, but it upset the clubhouse chemistry was extremely unpopular in MN. Could the Twins have caught the A's in 88 without this trade? Possible, but as "advanced stats" show that Herr supposedly made MN a better team that year. I beg to differ.

Tell me what is better on the 1967 Topps set the fronts or the backs? Both are unimprovable which is why I consider this set the GOAT! All today's hi tech, refraxctors, Xfractors, mirror, Kaboom, orange, pink, purple.................they still cannot touch the 1967 in terms of looks. In other words the 1967 Topps set is to baseball cards what 1960s Julie Newmar is to women.

That Parker image has to be from 1973........The team wore the circular "21" patch for only one year in respect to PR greatest player.........Odd that Parker's RC is in '74...........Never noticed that before..........
That is an odd turn of events. His rookie uses a totally different picture unlike other stars and topps repeated pictures for their cards.

WOW! Nice Parker rookies! The centering is awesome which is a problem for 70s Topps cards as you know.
I remember very well that in that mid 1970s era the National League produced a bunch of tall, athletic outfielders in Parker, Winfield, Dawson and Ellis Valentine. THey were all around type players and not just lumbering, power hitters. It was like having NBA looking players roaming the National League outfields at that time.
