    Some of my recent successes

The Maysey and Knorr are nice additions to my "Canadians who played for the 'spos" collection..... A bit disappointed in the pen/marker Maysey used (looks like he used a highlighter), but what can you do... Maysey also wrote back a really nice note.

Esau sent me back a note saying "you sent me Van Dorp cards by mistake, if you send me the right ones I'll gladly...

That's just over 4 years.... this was one of the first ones I sent out when I started this project back in January 2008. It showed up today. I don't even log my dates anymore but this goes back far enough, back to when I used to do so... so I know exactly how long the wait was. I've sent to...

a baseball pioneer and innovator in the mailbox today

Charlie O'Brien signed a custom for me... he's the man behind the "hockey style" catcher's mask. He also wrote back on my "notepaper"... it simply reads "Catch ya later - Charlie O'Brien" .

added one to a "sub-collection" without even doing anything.

Well of course, my main focus is the all-time Expos roster collection.... but within that I set myself some goals with "sub-collections".... one is to obtain a signed card from every Canadian to have played or coached for the Expos! Today I added to that collection without having to do...
