    I think it's a good time to take a break when you make a post like you did. Clearly you have other pressing concerns that trump sports cards. I think a break would make sense, at least from buying new product. You can always trade, especially PWE trades where the postage won't be significant...

    I think the patch is good. It's already a low serial numbered patch variety, so I don't see an advantage to add a fake one. Sometimes patch card openings don't fit well. I like it.

    I don't remember, but it would have been a 1987 Topps as I sent a bunch of those out that year. The players I remember getting are: Harold Baines, Jody Davis, Dwight Evans, Dale Murphy, Tim Raines and Tony Gwynn.

    Very cheap. About $2.00 for a pack of two. I can tell you it takes tar off a rug. If you try it I wouldn't get the kind with the rough scrubber side, just get the original. Try it on a card you dont need first. Maybe sign one yourself and give it a day to dry, then test it.

    I can only suggest to you, please, don't use a non-recessed screw down holder. They have been known to stick to the card surface over time. I just mention this as a fellow collector hoping to save you any problems. I'm not saying it always happens, but it can and I would feel very badly for you...

    The cartoons on the '64s were revealed when a coin was rubbed over them. If they were rubbed and the cartoon has faded I think Beckett might consider that a lower surface grade...maybe? I would think if the cartoon is not showing because it wasn't rubbed, that would be a plus. To answer the...
