    Boycott Topps

There are things in any era which make it easier or add difficulty. Back then you played against the best white America had to offer (with a few exceptions), smaller gloves and worse condition fields would make it MORE likely to get a bad hop, or a ball just out of reach of a fielder back...

Why Is Matt Wieters missing from Topps releases?

http://www.freedomcardboard.com/forum/baseball/119088-matt-wieters-finally-topps-card-sort.html Looks like he signed a deal with Razor way back and just hasn't signed a contract with Topps yet, at least that's the impression I get from the first dozen or so results when I googled 2012 Topps...

2013 Topps MLB Sticker Collection 3-13-13

yeah, it was great. I remember the promotion they had in 1985 where they had certificates randomly inserted and if you collected 5, you mailed off for a complete set of baseball cards. I found one all year and my best friend found 5 in about the first month or two. I was so jealous. Those...

2013 Topps MLB Sticker Collection 3-13-13

I loved them when we were kids, but the cost these days is ugly. $1/pack, need at least 39 packs to complete the set, add the album, tax if you buy them like we used to, factor in doubles, you're looking at $50 or more to finish a set of stickers. You'd have to drop $5 or more every time you...

    Boycott Topps

Who is ganging up on you? You went from boycotting Topps and writing a letter expressing your disgust and encouraging others to do the same to having a beef with MLB instead. That's a bit like seeing your best friends name come up on your girlfriend's phone, so you call her every name in the...

    Boycott Topps

So you went from sending them a letter comparing them to flag burners and encouraging people to boycott them to potentially having no beef with them other than not being clear enough for you in the span of a handful of posts?

    Boycott Topps

If you look hard enough, nearly ANYTHING can be a malicious act. You can find plenty of reasons to get bent out of shape about anything. What about all the records they didn't mention, isn't that a slight to those record holders? What about their flip flop on the retiring number 7? or why just...

    Boycott Topps

Right, Topps should have mentioned his name and risk losing their exclusive license.

    Problem pasting images

I'm guessing it's because the HTML code is turned off in the thread in the card talk subforum, and it is turned on in this forum. I'd have to wait until I get home to confirm this idea, but I would think you can do the following: 1) upload picture to a hosting site (photobucket, picasa, etc) 2)...

1986 Topps PSA 10 Ryne Sandberg

The article made it sound like it was pretty much player collectors. Only 2 PSA 10's out there, so set registry rankings are at stake. They said it was the toughest 10 out there for Sandberg collectors. EDIT:WHOA!

Now that i decided on selling what price would you give the cards????

As a general rule, you're probably in the right ballpark. Individually, there could be significant variances. Ruth, Williams, Mantle, Gehrig, Cobb, etc are likely to be higher, while Fingers, Rice, Kell, Boudreau. Wynn, etc could end up lower.

1986 Topps PSA 10 Ryne Sandberg

Anyone else see the snippet on Sports Collectors Daily about the PSA 10 1986 Topps Ryne Sandberg passing the $1000 mark? Talk about having to fight the urge to buy some unopened rack/cello cases, or at least a box or two!
