I got the quad #1/1 for $56 dlvd. It was a quad jersey with Jeter, Posada, Mo Vaughn and Nomar. The Nomar swatch had a piece of trim. It went for less than I expected, so I was happy.
I finally am paying attention to this product because a card has applied to me. It's a quad jersey #1/1. Not sure what to do about it. If I get outbid, oh well.
Leaf Certified Materials was always a favorite of mine. I always liked the Mirror parallels. Really hope that since Upper Deck is out, Panini will be allowed in so I can see this set in baseball again.
The other problem was that it was sold in buyer's fee auction. Ebay has no fees for buyers so people will spend more. The upside of the auction though is that bidders are pre-approved for bidding.
I do remember this. It was even on the website for a brief amount of time. I still refer to it from time to time in old hard copies. I wish they still did something similar to this. I don't need it for my player collections, but for anything else it would be nice.
Does anyone know how to tell the difference between the 3 different levels from just a picture? I tried looking at pictures of each and I am having difficulty telling the difference. I do not have any of them in hand to base a comparison off of, so this is quite difficult.
Thanks in advance!
To the best of my knowledge, Topps regained their license after a brief lack of one. Panini has the other license for football. UD is all but out of the card game. They only have the hockey license left.
Any team with a strong collecting base will drive up the price of certain issues. I have come across this several times with Nomar cards. Having been on three teams with very strong collecting bases (Red Sox, Cubs, Dodgers), I have seen the price of some items go way up. This is also true...
I'm a little disappointed in the quality of the patches on such a low numbered card. The seller I got it from finally came down to a reasonable price for it so I can't complain too much.
I am watching this card too. I think it is real. I have seen this before, especially with the Cool Base style jerseys. The tag is not a patch but is more of a silk screen sticker so it cannot simply be removed. It is actually part of the fabric on the jersey. This makes it so that when the...
My stuff is all over the place. I have some stuff hanging on the wall (mostly due to a lack of floor space). I have all of my jerseys hanging in a closet. Large items are on a shelf or in drawers. All cards are in 3 row boxes or clear plastic tubs. I try to scan in everything for my own...
