Success was Pro Football HOF'er, Rickey Jackson, who signed a 1992 Pro Set Power #157 and a 1985 Topps #106, he kept the 2 extras of the 65 Topps I asked him to keep. Great success. Thanks Mr.Jackson.

Refusal was former Yankee Tony Kubek. My second refusal from him.I got back my cards this time.

awesome success!!
Don Larsen is the same way, I sent an index card he sent aletter back stating he doesnt sign index cards so i sent a baseball card and he sent a letter back statin g he doesnt sign that certain card because they used his photo without permission.

congrats...i thought Kubek was pretty strict about requiring a donation but will sign if you note one on the envelope...i thought his donation was at least 35 also..

Thanks all. I guess hits and misses are a part of the TTM hobby.I can't complain however. I have had some great successes in past 3 years.

at least you got your other stamp back.. :) this was on another site

Apparently, for a long time this long-time Yankee refused all autograph mail sent to him but he now will sign TTM for $35 (cards, flats, baseballs; no bats or helmets). If you send Tony Kubek anything, you will be donating to the Lutheran Church, that is how you should make out the check.

Congrats on the return. Kubek requires $35... a little steep for my liking since I am not a die hard Yankee fan. Larson seems to think everyone used his photo with out permission. I have sent to him a few times on several different cards and he says the same thing each time. I think it is his way to ask for a donation without acting like he is only looking for the money. I did get pretty irritated with him I sent him a 20 x 20 photo of the last out of the World Series when he pitched the perfect game and he sent me a letter saying that he lost it and was willing to replace it with a 5x7 photo. I wrote him back saying that I had invested quite a bit of money into that specific photo and if he was unable to find it I would need a bit more than the single photo. It suddenly reappeared.

I saw the other day Larsen sent someone back a list of items for purchase and for $40 you could get an 8x10 of Yogi and Larsen after the game with Both sigs on it...While some people have been getting ICs and cards of Yogi, $40 to get a provided 8X10 already signed by both seems like a helluva deal..that's funny he "found" that pic suddenly..

I did sent a small fee to Don Larsen and did get 2 cards signed.$35 seems a bit pricy, though some may pay it. I wonder if some of these guys wouldn't ask for so much hadn't they played for the Yankees.Just a thought.
