I just bought my first 1933 Goudey and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to look for to make sure it is real.

Looks good to me. Look for paper stock, aging, reprint copyright lines on back, size. Printing wasn't too crisp on these, and yours looks like standard Goudey quality with the right amount of toning for a 75+ year old card.

Also doubt that many Fred Frankhouse fakes are out there! Nice card though, love that set and I only have one of them.

Thanks for the insight. I think it is real. He was from about 45 minutes away from where I live now and I used to live in the next town over from where he is from. For the condition it is in I can't even come close to getting it for the price I did on ebay for it.
